Many
doctors will tell you that there are no real solutions to stretch marks.
Indeed, stretch marks are basically scars, the damages starts from dermis
which make them very difficult to deal with. They simply CAN'T be
removed with just some fancy lotions and creams no matter what the sales
people tell you. You can take it from me or spend the money and find
out yourself.
However,
there are ways to reduce, even eliminate them. There are the hard; burning;
peeling; expensive ways, and there is the affordable do-it-at-home natural

Theoretically,
stretch marks under a year old can possibly be treated by Retin-A provided
that the stretch marks are still pink or reddish color. But the success
rate is not impressive and the result is not guaranteed, and not all
stretch marks start as pink or red. Many customers of mine had previously
used Retin-A but seen no results from it at all. I am sure there are

email us). Retin-A is only available per prescription.
- Cost:
Varies depends on if and how your insurance
covers it.
- Result:
Only works for some (but not all) pink stretch
marks if they are still fresh. Does
not work for silver/pale stretch marks or stretch marks that are over
one year old.
- Warning:
(1) Should not be used by pregnant or nursing women on stomach/breast
area, because it can be absorbed through skin and cause harm to the
baby through placenta or breast milk. Ask your doctor about it.
(2)May cause skin discoloration which will go away soon after
stop using it

Micro
Dermabrasion Treatment

I learned
this procedure from my customers who had gone through the process but
failed also. I don't know how objective or accurate their descriptions
are, but I have talked with more than just a few people and they all
gave me similar stories. I am just passing on what I have been told
here.
Basically
micro crystals and chemical materials are "sprayed" on skin
under pressure at a high speed with a vacuum device. Multiple session
required(at least 10-12 sessions in a period of a 3-4 months). It is
painful and brutal. Most say that skin appears bruised as if it's whipped
or lashed even days after the session. During that 3-4 months areas
treated can't be exposed to direct sun light at all It is supposed to
improve skin texture and make skin younger and smoother. Results for
stretch marks and scars are not guaranteed. Most people who wrote me
about it quit after after a few sessions because of the hardships and
lack of results.
- Cost:
Between $100.00-$200.00 per session. Don't
consider it if you don't have at least $1,000-$2,000 to spare.
- Results:
I am not sure since none of the people who
wrote me about it actually completed the whole course. None of them
has good things to say about it though.
- Warning:
May cause new scars in the process.

Laser
stands for Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
It is an very effective clinical treatment for many skin conditions
such as wrinkles, scars, acne, tattoos, stretch marks, facial or body
hair, etc. The procedure used for stretch marks is pulsed dye lasers.
If is well done skin should be back to normal or even better than normal.
It could be very painful, sometimes anesthesia is needed. But while
some people describe it as "hurt as hell", others say it is
nothing they can't handle. After the treatment there would be bruising,
peeling, scabbing, redness of skin, etc.. Multiple sessions are required
for stretch marks. Like everything else it does not work for all people.
- Cost:
$600-$700.00 per session, 7-8 sessions at least. It can easily cost
5-10 thousand dollar or more.
- Results:
Probably the most effective clinical way to treat stretch marks.
The downside is, (aside from the bruising and peeling, etc.) it does
not guaranty certain results, so don't expect to get a penny back if
not satisfied with the results. Do your home work before you decide
if you want to go for it.
- Warning:
(1) Good surgeon and good equipment are crucial for the success.(If
it is overdone it will further scar the skin, if it is under done there
will be no results)
(2) Find out if you are a good candidate first , for not all
skin types can undergo this intimidating procedure. If
you are seriously considering laser surgery,
I recommend that you read the book to the right of the screen to prepare
yourself for it. But
If you are smart, check out the option below first. It will save you
so much money; so much suffering; so much time and so much hassle.
